Eliminating additional problems can help alleviate the symptoms of Lyme disease.

In Lyme disease, the body is already under maximum stress. How can we alleviate symptoms such as histamine-related phenomena, nutritional and digestive problems?

The following are often observed in Lyme disease patients:

  • Bloating and abdominal discomfort, which may be caused by an imbalance in the intestinal flora.
  • The development of food intolerances that were not previously present.
  • Diarrhoea or constipation, which may alternate cyclically.
  • IBS-like symptoms (irritable bowel syndrome), which are difficult to distinguish from other diseases.

The cause of all these symptoms is dysbiosis, which develops in most Lyme disease patients, intestinal motility disorders caused by pathogens that attack the intestinal nervous system, inflammation, possibly autoimmune processes, and the resulting change in the permeability of the intestinal wall.
